Evidências de Validade da versão reduzida da Critical Consciousness Scale

O presente estudo tem por objetivo elaborar uma versão reduzida da Critical Consciousness Scale, tornando mais rápida e ágil a avaliação dos construtos em estudos psicossociais. Consciência crítica é uma capacidade individual ou coletiva de analisar criticamente a organização das estruturas sociais e o modo como essas perpetuam a opressão e a manutenção do poder, oriunda do Pensamento do Pedagogo Brasileiro Paulo Freire. No campo de estudos psicológicos de mensuração e pesquisa, a consciência crítica pode ser entendida como um processo gradual, que começa na reflexão e culmina na ação transformadora, podendo ser avaliada pela Critical Consciousness Scale. A amostra do estudo foi composta por três ondas de coleta de dados, totalizando 1.322 respondentes de adultos brasileiros. Procedimentos de análises de juízes, sequenciados por estratégias de análise fatorial e invariância, apresentam uma versão reduzida de 12 itens da medida, cobrindo as dimensões de Reflexão Crítica (α = 0.93), Responsabilidade Crítica (α = 0.73)
