The neurological complication is not very frequent in schistosomiasis. The involvement of inferior portions of spinal cord and cauda equina is the most common one. Two cases in which patients presented subacute paraparesis with positive sorology to schistosomiasis in cerebrospinal fluid are reported in this paper.
