The authours performed an experimental study in 33
mongrel dogs where they compared the wound ctosing
which was caused on the 2nd portion on duodenal wall of 20-35 for 25-40mm. The dogs were divided into two groups in according with the technic recommended. The first group was composed b) 15 animals where they performed the approximation of the edges proximat and distat on the wound in a transversal way (technic I). The second group was composed by 18 animals and the ctosing was performed 87 b) intact jejunal segment covering the duodenal wound (techrtic II). The animals were divided in sulygroups b) necropsy in ISth,22th, and 60th post-operative days, where they have studied the surface aspect free for mucosa thread, teakage, density of watt and the exudative and proliferative findings. The authors concluded that , for the seem kind of tesion, the use of the technic I was the best because it has showed the best result than the techrric II.
