Abstract

The aim of this research was to analyse the behavior and the repports of the burned persons, during the acute fase of the hospitalization. It was subject twelve adults, four males, four females and four children. They was submited to at least seven days of hospitalization. It was made behavioral observations and interviews with the subjects and his families. The obsevations was made daily, for five weeks, with 30 minutes each one. The interviews with the subject was made daily and once a weed with his families. The results pointed out that patients passed by different fases during the hospitalization time as theirs families. The positive or negative reaction during the hospitalization was the main factor determining the recovery.
