The Purpose of this study was to analyzed the understanding of the concept of health and psychological health among psychologlsts, medical doctors and lay people. The semantic content of the answers, given by psychologlsts (N=9), medical doctors (N=8) and lay people (N=11) to the questions: "What is health?" and "What is your understanding of psychological he8lth?" it was analysed.To the concept of health the following dimensions were brought out: equilibrium and harmony, and well-being. To the psycho-logical health concept lhe following dimensions: equilibrium and harmony, and psychological. The correlation among the subjects opinions were significant, aItought there were significant differences among the dimensions of the concept.
