Brief Psychotherapies: indication criteria and the therapeutic strategies

This work has aimed to systematize the brief psychotherapeutic procedures based on supporting (5), clearing (C) and interpretalive (I) strategies. from the psychodynamic hypothesis and from the adaptative configuration ofthe subjects (EDAO).Results: a) a clear association between the adaptative criterion and the indication of the strategies; b) Gr. III tends to conclude more significantly, than that of Gr. V.; c) there is not significant diference between finished (F) and unfinished (U) ones related to (5) and (C) strategies. With (I) strategy, the probability of conclusion is significant We can conclude that there is a tendency to adopt (5) strategy to Gr. V; (C) and (I)strategies to Gr./II. The group III cases tend to be concluded when the strategy is (I).
