School Psychology: views in the study of the profession

The professional life span must be studied from the choice process until the retirement process. The tendencies presented in the study of the psychologist as a professional in other countries are similar of the Brazilian researches. It is importante to study the variables concerning choice, development and retirement of the professional set. The research methodology must be more and more sofisticated in order to afforda scientific view of the profession.
