Abstract

This study is about thalassemic children's mothers. We have studies three cases, searching to understand the physichogycal dynamics in the relation ofrnothers and thalassemic children, and its influence on the development of the disease treatment. ln this qualitative research, results analysis was bascd on the phenomenologycal method, by using rnother's reports, where they tell us about theirchildren's life history since their birth. We have concluded that thalassemic children's mothers have a conflict in relation to their children's disease. This conflict is caracterized by a negative feeling, and the rion acceptance ofthe children's disease, consequently, resulting into inadequate performances in relation to the children and their treatment.
