The role of a dietitian in a training ano development center of a hospital

This paper refers to the experience of a dietitian in the Training and Oevelopment Center (CCO) at the Moinhos de Vento Hospital. The dietitian elaborates and develops training programs in the dietetic area as well as in other areas of the hospital, making it possible to improve the patient's total assistance. This paper also points out the basis and the conception of eco structure, and shows the role of a dietitian in this context. lt reinforces the existence of a multiprofessional team working exclusively in training people. lt focuses on the profile of the dietitian of CCO at the Moinhos de Vento Hospital, emphasizing his abilities and activities developed in this area. lt is taken into consideration the dietitian's experience and specialization, but always bear ing in mind the problems that affect human beings. The consciousness of social problems and the daily experience acquired withwórk make it possible to anàlysethe man, society and organization context.
