This article approaches and discusses the concept of complexity using the analysis of examples of urban intervention projects from Spanish multidisciplinary groups. The paper analyses the design process of this renewed set of urban design initiatives and its flexible and articulated architectural posture. It brings innumerable contributions to rethink fundamental questions of contemporary design practice. We will explain and discuss concepts, tactics, principles of design, and other aspects that contribute to re-thinking the complexity of the current urban problems.
