Resumen

Este trabalho contém dados epidemiológicos que mostram a importância do fator dieta sobre a incidência das doenças isquêmicas do coração, salientando a correlação positiva existente entre altos níveis sanguíneos de colesterol, obesidade e ingestão de gorduras saturadas com o aumento da incidência destas doenças.
